This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

This course is delivered over 52 weeks of full time study at 20 hours per week of scheduled class time. This includes six weeks holidays.

This qualification is delivered face-to-face in the classroom. There is a new intake each month.
All students must be at least 18 years of age.
- Satisfactory completion of year 12 or equivalent
- Overseas students require a language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
There are no specific academic prerequisites for any of the units in this course, however it is recommended that students first complete the Diploma of Leadership and Management or equivalent.
To complete this course, it is expected that you will have access to:

- DVD-ROM drive
- Media Player
These facilities are available on campus.
All of the learning materials and test books required to complete this course will be provided.

This course provides participants with the skills to obtain the occupational position across various industrial sectors. Job roles and titles vary across these different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:

Individuals who successfully complete the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management may progress to further study in higher education.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Students who have completed any of the units of study or have practical experience that may be used for recognition of prior learning must contact Cambridge Academy of English prior to enrollment.
As this is a competency based program, assessment continues throughout the duration of the course until the participant either achieves competency in the assessment tasks or a further training need is identified and addressed.
